On the weekend of November 18-20, America's bronze goddess of freedom, the legendary LIBERTY GIRL, was glimpsed for the first time in fifty years! Artist Mark Sparacio brought with him to the New York City National comic book convention a signed and numbered lithograph edition of his rendering of Liberty Girl's classic war bond poster from the year 1943!

This amazingly lifelike portrait of America's greatest heroine drew an incredible response from fans already eager to see the scheduled July 4, 2006, debut of Heroic Publishing's Liberty Girl #1. According to Sparacio, even at $20 a pop, the lithograph was selling like hotcakes. Copies of the limited edition lithograph can be ordered from Mark Sparacio's website at www.marksparacio.com.

The first issue of LIBERTY GIRL will be a super-sized comic featuring 44 pages of full-color adventure by writer Dennis Mallonee and artists Mark Sparacio and Daerick Gross. Liberty Girl has made brief cameo appearances in recent issues of Heroic Publishing's Flare comic book title. A nine-page Liberty Girl teaser adventure is scheduled to appear in Flare #34, on sale in late April. And a special Free Comic Book Day edition of Liberty Girl will be available in comic book stores nationwide on Saturday, May 6.

Heroic Publishing's full-color comic book titles are distributed by Diamond Comics Distributors, FM International, and Ingram Periodicals.

Retailers who haven't been ordering Heroic Publishing titles may want to register on the Heroic Publishing website at www.heroicpub.com/retailer and take advantage of Heroic Publishing's back issue services. Back issues of all Heroic titles are normally made available for wholesale purchase beginning 30 days after their on-sale date.
