Viper Comics has announced that they will release a limited edition A Dummy's Guide To Danger # 1 variant at the 2006 San Diego Comic Con. Painted with an almost Norman Rockwell-like stroke by Minnesota-based artist Scott Schomburg, the exclusive print will be limited to 150 copies.
"The cover is absolutely haunting, yet breathtaking at the same time," states Viper Comics president Jessie Garza. "Scott is destined for great things and it's clearly visible when looking at his take on these characters. Any fan of comics and art in general will want this as part of their collection."
Combining elements of humor, mystery and horror, the 4-issue A Dummy's Guide To Danger centers on private investigator Alan Sirois and his partner Mr. Bloomberg, a paraplegic ventriloquist dummy that Alan believes was shot in the back by an assailant and became crippled when the bullet lodged in his spine. Together since they were kids, the mismatched pair must now track down a gruesome killer known only as the Flesh Collector.
