Runemaster Studios’ head honcho Mike Bullock will be appearing at Comics Plus from 4-8pm on Wednesday, December 22nd, 2004 in the Shoreview Village Mall to support his new Image all-ages series Lions, Tigers & Bears. As a special holiday treat, Bullock will have limited edition signed and numbered copies of Lions, Tigers & Bears #1 on hand in a very limited quantity.  

“I’m very excited about this,” said Dave Thompson, owner of Comics Plus, “and a lot of my customers are looking forward to it as well.”

“I'm really looking forward to this event because most of the all-ages comics in my store are superhero-related, geared toward younger readers, and this gives me an opportunity to provide my customers with something a little different,” continued Thompson. “My younger customers and their parents, whether they are regular readers of humorous comics like Archie & The Simpsons, or more heroic comics like Spider-Man & Justice League, have all been very excited for this signing.  They've responded very favorably to the synopsis of what the comic is about and they're thrilled at the notion of meeting a real-life writer of comic books."

Lions, Tigers & Bears is a four issue, all-ages monthly mini series beginning in January 2005 from Image Comics. Created and written by Mike Bullock, with art by Jack Lawrence, Lions, Tigers & Bears has quickly become one of Image Comics most highly anticipated debuts of the New Year.
