NBM Publishing will announce new projects and reveal upcoming artwork exclusively on Saturday afternoon at the San Diego Comic-Con. From 2:00 to 3:30 on July 28 in Room 8 of the San Diego Convention Center, NBM will celebrate its 30th anniversary with a panel discussion, a Q&A with the fans, a slide show, and (of course) a birthday cake.
The panel discussion will include NBM writers and artists such as:
• Rick Geary (A Treasury of Victorian Murder)
• Bryan Talbot (Alice in Sunderland and an upcoming art book from NBM)
• David Axe (the award-winning War Fix)
• Rob Vollmar (Bluesman and the Eisner-nominated Castaways)
• Jesse Lonergan (Flower and Fade)
• And publisher Terry Nantier.
They will reveal new work such as:
• Images from Talbot’s art book
• Geary’s chilling new series of books that go beyond Victorian Murder
• Axe’s next graphic novel and new artistic partner
• New publications from Lonergan and Vollmar
• And other projects, including upcoming volumes in the popular Forever Nuts! series of rarely reprinted classic comic strips.
Plus, NBM will serve cake to everyone who attends the panel (while the cake lasts, of course).
For more information, contact NBM Online Publicist David Seidman at 310-652-4369 before the convention, 310-402-9411 during the convention, or davidseidman@earthlink.net anytime. You can also leave messages for him at NBM's exhibit-hall booth, #1528 near the back of Hall B.
