NEIL GAIMAN’S NEVERWHERE will be featured in a spectacular, free 8-page preview in next month’s FABLES #36.
Written by Mike Carey (LUCIFER, HELLBLAZER) with art and covers by Glenn Fabry (THE SANDMAN: ENDLESS NIGHTS, PREACHER), NEIL GAIMAN’S NEVERWHERE is a 9-issue VERTIGO adaptation of the classic urban fantasy novel, with Gaiman himself overseeing the project as consultant.
“Mike Carey and Glenn Fabry are the perfect team to bring Neil Gaiman's classic first novel to comics,” says Karen Berger, VP — Executive Editor, VERTIGO. “They've brought the story's unique characters to life while capturing all the gothic danger in an adaptation that's both faithful to Neil's book and highly original. FABLES readers and fans of dark, urban fantasy won't want to miss this incredible series.”
“This preview gives retailers a great opportunity to show NEVERWHERE to their customers who are Neil Gaiman fans,” says Bob Wayne, DC’s VP — Sales. “We urge retailers to increase their orders on FABLES #36 to be sure they have enough copies on hand.”
FABLES #36 (FEB050351) is solicited in the February issue of Previews (Volume XV, #4) and is scheduled to arrive in stores on April 13.
NEIL GAIMAN’S NEVERWHERE #1 will be solicited in the April issue of Previews and is scheduled to arrive in stores on June 22.
