During interviews for Shrek The Third, in which he voices Puss In Boots, Antonio Banderas told reporters that nobody involved with Sin City 2 has approached him to join the cast.
According to Sci Fi Wire, Banderas stated, "People keep asking me about this, but I don't know anything about it. But the way this man works, he will literally call me the night before and say, 'Let's do this movie.' And I will do it. I've done six movies with him, and that is the way he works."
"I would like to do it, but I don't know anything about it. I would follow Robert Rodriguez into hell if he asked me to do it," the actor added. "I like the creativity of this guy."
