Atlantis Studios announced today the July release of the next chapter in their successful adventure series entitled Paula Peril: The Case of the Haunted Museum.
"This is our 'Scooby Doo' issue, it has two self-contained stories with ghost story scenarios", explains series creator James Watson, "This issue also introduces a new character, Veronica Vile, who will be an on-going part of the series. She is a fellow reporter who feels threatened by Paula's success, and will stop at nothing to steal the headlines, even if it means some dangerous cliffhanger situations!"
This action-packed series has been described as Indiana Jones meets Nancy Drew, with art by veteran Seppo Makinen (Sherlock Holmes), newcomer Javier Sanchez Aranda, inker Rob Ewing (Kelly Belle), and a full color cover by Dave Hoover (Tarzan). Each issue features the pulp-inspired adventures of a determined young reporter who finds herself in the middle of every story she covers, be it ruthless gangsters or supernatural mysteries.
