Ape Entertainment is pleased to announce that Point Pleasant #1 has sold out of all direct market copies after only three weeks since its initial release.  In order to keep this extremely sought after book in the market place as long as possible, Ape Entertainment will (for a limited time) attempt to fill all new re-orders from its extremely limited stock of rare convention exclusive covers.

Point Pleasant #1—written by Chad Lambert, with art by Ryan Scott, Jason Moser, and Dan Barlow and covers by Steve Black—relates the harrowing journey of a band of time-traveling scientists as they investigate the Mothman legend of Point Pleasant, West Virginia.  From the Revolutionary War to the 1967 Silver Bridge disaster, 200 years of paranormal history becomes a roadmap of death, treachery and murder for a technologically advanced society.

”The success of Point Pleasant # 1 is wonderful…it just goes to show what happens when you combine a solid story by an extremely talented writer like Chad and an outstanding team of artist like Ryan, Jason, Dan and Steve,” says Ape Entertainment’s Director of Marketing Brent E. Erwin.  “Still, these sales are incredible.  We’re all just amazed.”

“This book is scary as hell.  Apparently, fans like that kind of thing!” quips Managing Editor Mike Hall.

The variant cover editions are available in only limited quantities and aren’t expected to last long given the speed with which re-orders have been coming in.  Readers interested in getting a copy are encouraged to visit their local comics shop and place their orders as soon as possible.  Cover images are available for review at http://www.ape-entertainment.com.
