Huge fan of the Byrne run and the second '90s volume, with its conspiracy thriller vibe, was hugely under-rated. ALPHA FLIGHT, though, embodies the major problem with Big Two super-hero books: it's simply impossible to be able to invest anything emotionally in these characters anymore when they've all been killed and resurrected so many times. Still, I'll give this a go on the strength of Pak and Van Lente who are *always* good value for money.
