Vampirella returns this September in Vampirella: The Second Coming #1, the first issue of a game changing, four issue miniseries. Each issue is priced at $1.99 and can be ordered now in this month’s Previews catalogue. The miniseries serves as the keystone event of the 40th Anniversary of Vampirella, a year long celebration of this icon of horror.

Written by Eisner Award nominee Phil Hester (The Darkness) with art by red-hot newcomer Daniel Sampere, the Second Coming will fundamentally alter Vampirella, her universe and her stories forever. Here is the provocative solicitation in this month’s Previews:

It features covers by best selling artist Arthur Suydam (Marvel Zombies), fan favorites Joe Jusko, (Tomb Raider) and Ryan Stegman (Grimm’s Fairy Tales) and the final Vampirella cover by the legendary Jose Gonzalez.
