New York City is not the best place to be stuck during a blizzard. Now imagine the streets teeming with the undead. The only safety lies in the power deprived buildings high above the streets. Those few people who were lucky enough to survive the initial wave of undead lie huddled together, hoping to figure a way out of this nightmare. But what happens when the ice melts and the frozen zombies are thawed out?

Mike Raicht, known for his work with Marvel Zombies as well as Savage Tales unleashes this mini-series set in the Deadworld. Introducing a new cast of characters, this mini series is the perfect time for new readers to find out more about one of the longest running zombie series in comic history, Deadworld, with nearly 60 issues published.

"With the streets of New York still snowed in, our survivors, led by Kolin Fleet, attempt to find a way out of the city before the thaw comes", said Raicht. "But now, not only are they dealing with the harsh weather and the thousands of Zombies still wandering the streets of New York, they also are going to have to deal with the baddest Zombie of them all -- King Zombie."

Gary Reed, creator of Deadworld explained that Raicht's story, Deadworld: Frozen Overis a stand alone series yet will eventually tie in with the regular series. "Frozen Over is meant to be completely independent of the regular Deaworld series yet the events will matter in the ongoing series and will become part of the canon. But you don't have to read the regular series to enjoy Frozen Over…it's meant to exist on its own as well."

Federico Dallocchio of Image's Common Foe joins Raicht to deliver more terrifying icy cold undead horror in the 4 issue limited series that expands the Deadworld Universe into new territory!
