Just a few short weeks after announcing the incredible offer of Red Sonja #0 - Written by Michael (Thor) Avon Oeming and Mike (Ultimate Elektra, Lucifer) Carey and illustrated by Mel Rubi, and featuring colorists Richard (Origin) Isanove with Caesar (Sojourn) Rodriguez along with an incredible cover by Greg (SOLD OUT OF EVERY ISSUE OF Phoenix Endsong) Land AND an incentive cover by Alex Ross - (ALL FOR A QUARTER FOR THE #0 ISSUE!), Dynamite has been receiving an outpouring of Retailer Feedback!

Co-Writer Michael Avon Oeming: "[Red Sonja] #0 is a taste of things to come- it sets the mood. Issue #1 we'll really see Sonja's world start to come to life.

Co-writer Michael Carey: "In #0, a vignette - a reminder of what Sonja is and what she does, and what it's like to live in her world.  It's short and anything but sweet. In #1, we pull back and reveal.  Like going from close-up to panoramic longshot.  You see where Sonja is in her life at this point, and what's going on around her.  You get the big picture, or at least the start of it...."

Select Retailers who order 1,000 units of Red Sonja #0 and 300 units of Red Sonja #1 will be eligible to be featured in a future Wizard advertisement promoting Red Sonja as being available in their store. The #0 issue will also carry the Comic Book Locator Service Information.

In addition to tremendous retailer response, Dynamite Entertainment's Red Sonja has also had a positive outcry from fans (and we appreciate all the nice words - as does Michael Avon Oeming, Mike Carey, Mel Rubi, Richard Isanove and Caesar Rodriguez - Thank you all very much!).  The She Devil with a Sword has also been getting attention from the key comic magazine and comic news internet community.  Being covered by Wizard Magazine's year ender as one of the top books to read next year, Comic Shop News giving Red Sonja the cover feature this past Wednesday AS WELL AS extensive coverage from Newsarama, The Pulse, Comic Book Resources, Comics Continuum, ICV2 and this week's Silver Bullet Comic Books!  Again, we thank you all!
