One of the most critical crossover events in the history of the Top Cow Universe is finally collected in Endgame Volume 1 Trade Paperback, anticipated to release in July 2007.
The Endgame Volume 1 Trade Paperback will collect for fans the storyline which found Sara Pezzini, the New York City police detective and bearer of the mystical Witchblade, investigating a series of unexplained and mysterious deaths. Pezzini’s investigation eventually
leads her to an encounter with a force known only as "The Weave" and she calls on her friend Lara Croft, the Tomb Raider, for aid. Things go from bad to worse and soon Sara’s hand is forced, leading to the death of the Tomb Raider. Written by the team of John Ney Rieber (Books of Magic, GI Joe: Reborn) and David Wohl (Witchblade, The Darkness: Levels) and featuring art by such superstars as Michael Turner (Civil War, Superman/Batman), Marc Silvestri (Civil War: The Initiative, Hunter-Killer) and Francis Manapul (The Necromancer, Iron & The Maiden). This trade collects Tomb Raider #25, Witchblade #60, Evo #1, as well as the Endgame Prelude and Epilogue issues and additional bonus material leading into and out of this classic crossover.
"This trade is a must have for Witchblade and Tomb Raider fans alike," said Filip Sablik, Vice President of Marketing & Sales, "It captures a pivotal moment in Sara and Lara’s relationship and packs quite a punch due to the creative heavyweights involved in this event."
Endgame Volume 1 Trade Paperback is a 160 page full color trade paperback with a suggested retail price of $16.99. Additional information regarding Endgame can be found at www.topcow.com.
