WONDER WOMAN #219, featuring the shocking finale of the 4-part "Sacrifice" storyline, is now sold out at DC Comics, joining the sold-out SUPERMAN #219 and ACTION COMICS #829 as well as the nearly sold out ADVENTURES OF SUPERMAN #642.
Now, DC rushes all four parts of this cataclysmic story back to press for second printings, starting with WONDER WOMAN #219 Second Printing (JUN058155). Along with the story written by Greg Rucka and illustrated by Rags Morales, David Lopez, Tom Derenick, Georges Jeanty, Karl Kerschl and others, this printing features a new cover by Ladrönn plus two pages summarizing the events of the first three chapters with art from those issues.
DC also offers the SUPERMAN #219 Second Printing (JUN058177), ACTION COMICS #829 Second Printing (JUN059175) and ADVENTURES OF SUPERMAN #642 Second Printing (JUN059176). DC will confirm in-store dates and cover information on these new printings soon.
"I'm overjoyed that DC is going back to press so quickly not only on WONDER WOMAN #219 but on the other 'Sacrifice' chapters as well," says Rucka. "We knew from the start that this was going to be a crucial story in the build-up to INFINITE CRISIS, and it's really nice to see that our belief was valid."
"This story has had a huge impact with readers and retailers, and sales on all four parts have been brisk," says Bob Wayne, DC's VP - Sales. "Retailers should place orders on all of these new printings as soon as possible to make sure they get sufficient quantities."
The WONDER WOMAN #219 Second Printing (JUN058155) is available for order now and is scheduled to arrive in stores on August 17 with a cover price of $2.50 U.S. To ensure delivery on that date retailers must place orders by Sunday, August 7; please note that quantities will be limited and may sell out before August 17. DC urges retailers to place orders as soon as possible to avoid missing out.
The SUPERMAN #219 Second Printing (JUN058177), ACTION COMICS #829 Second Printing (JUN059175) and ADVENTURES OF SUPERMAN #642 Second Printing (JUN059176) all are available for order now. DC will confirm the order-by dates, in-store dates and cover informationon these new printings soon.
