Dynamite Entertainment releases images and information announcing the debut of Savage Tales #1, a new series featuring a rotating cast of characters from the savage and brutal worlds of Red Sonja and the Hunter, Cthulhu and the Old Ones, Atlantis and more-all by an array of the industries top creators including Ron Marz, Leah Moore and Pablo Marcos!
The first issue of Dynamite’s Savage Tales debuts in March and will be available with covers by Arthur Suydam -- the man responsible for bringing dead heroes back to life on the covers of Marvel Zombies and Dynamite’s own Raise the Dead; Richard Isanove -- whose pencils and coloring skills have been featured on Origin, the Ultimate X-Men and upcoming Conan and Stephen King’s Dark Tower; Plus: Dynamite fan-favorite and long time Red Sonja artist, Mel Rubi!
Additionally, this premiere issue of Savage Tales from Dynamite Entertainment will also be available as a limited edition foil cover featuring the dramatic cover by Richard Isanove!
Savage Tales will ship six times a year and showcase storytelling talents such as Ron Marz, Leah Moore, John Reppion and Michael Avon-Oeming, along with the artistic superstars Pablo Marcos and Kevin Sharpe, as well as Dynamite fan-favorites Stjepan Sejic and Adriano Batista. The “Tales” themselves will feature familiar Dynamite characters like Red Sonja while expanding on other supporting characters like The Hunter from the Red Sonja ongoing series. Each issue will also contain all-new stories, starting with a tale of Cthulhu and The Old Ones and accounts from the lost city of Atlantis!

Issue #1 is led by Part One of a special Red Sonja story from Ron Marz and Adriano (NBSG: ZAREK) Batista! Savage Tales also features:
· Battle for Atlantis from writers Leah Moore and John Reppion with artists Pablo Marcos and Stjepan Sejic
· The Hunter -- from the pages of Red Sonja -- from writers Luke Lieberman and Michael Avon Oeming with artist Kevin Sharpe.
· Cthulhu and The Old Ones by Mike (Marvel's ZOMBIE) Raicht and artist Pere Perez.
