Comic shops across the country will heat up this summer when the Art of Josh Howard Vol. II is released through Viper Comics. Hot on the heels of the best-selling first volume, Josh Howard (Dead@17, Black Harvest) returns with a brand new collection of punk rock and goth pin-up girls to keep both comic and Howard fans company on those hot summer days.
The book, on sale in June, is a follow up to Howard's first art book HIPS & CROSSBONES, which debuted last year at the San Diego Comic-Con.
"Volume I had such an immediate fan response that a second book was something that both Josh and Viper knew would happen," states Viper Comics president Jessie Garza. "Josh has very loyal fans and he knows what they like and based on what we've seen so far, this book is going to wow them all."
Fans of Howard will also be clamoring to pick up his first Dead@17 story in over a year when the FREE Viper Comics Presents Anthology drops on Free Comic Book Day in May. And of course, the Dead@17 ongoing is just around the corner, leaving everyone anticipating what will happen next in the Dead@17 universe.
"I don't want to say it's the year of Josh Howard, but it's pretty close," states Garza.
