When some people hear the term “mini-comics”, thoughts such as “cheaply made”, “lacking content” and “produced in your mother's basement” may come to mind. Seismic Comics hopes to change those inaccurate connotations with the debut of several projects in 2010, starting with “Creative Process,” the company's first 'zine.

This publication features interviews and the processes of some of the comics industry's most exciting talent. Readers will learn how their favorite comics creators produce their work. From the initial idea to finished pages, readers of "Creative Process" will discover various industry tips, get invaluable tutorials from the pros, as well as get an up-close look at creator's personal studio space and trade tools.

Creators scheduled to be featured in the 'zine include, Rob Guillory, Tony Daniels, Ed Benes, Jim Mahfood, Andie Tong, Kagan McLeod, LeSean Thomas, Jake Parker, Darren Rawlings, David Rivera, Kweli, Cal Slayton, John Porcellino, Snakebite, John Boy Meyers, and Ed Laroche, just to name a few. This 24 page, full color 'zine will be printed bi-monthly starting in April 2010, and can be pre-ordered now at www.seismiccomics.com.
