Image Comics is pleased to announce that SHADOWHAWK #1 is another in a string of recent books that have sold out at Diamond over the last month. The issue was supported by a 25% overship to retailers as well as Image's standard overprint.
"I'm pleasantly surprised by the overwhelming response to the new series. I attribute it to the great creative team we've assembled," says Image co-founder and SHADOWHAWK creator Jim Valentino.
The new SHADOWHAWK is co-plotted by Valentno and written by Jim Keplinger with art by newcomer Carlos Rodriguez. Valentino says "These guys have helped breathe new life into the old character and it's gratifying to see all of our hard work bear fruit."
Image is also putting together an attractively priced trade paperback for a September release. Titled SHADOWHAWK: BORN ANEW, it collects the first four issues of the new series along with THE RETURN OF SHADOWHAWK issue by creator Jim Valentino. 136 pages in full color for only $12.95!
SHADOWHAWK #2 (APR051689) is and #3 are now available for preorders - your local retailer can contact their Diamond Customer Service Representative for ordering.
