Industry veteran Shon C. Bury (writer of Superman Adventures, Power Pack, Turok, and X-Men's Cable) takes his original graphic novel Nox to the internets in a bold web-to-print campaign. Bury states, "Nox is a self-aware, low fantasy equally populated by mystical gurus, urban hipsters, Everyman characters, and dark forces bent on tipping our drab, mundane world into shadows." He adds, "The 128pp graphic novel has been finished forever, but due to some publishing missteps beyond my control readers have been denied the final package they've been dying to buy since 2006. We'll be self-publishing in the fall, but until then, get your geek on at www.shoncburysnox.com

Nox goes live April 1 with the following features:
 - 30+ pages already loaded and ready to read
 - 3 new pages every Friday
 - Online store packed with sweet Nox merch
 - Frequent blog-style updates to keep up with all the Nox news
 - An Amazon pre-order button so you can order your copy TODAY

"I'm very excited to take Nox in this direction," says Bury. "Online comics have revolutionized (and will continue to grow) our industry. Fans are enthusiastically supporting the format, and there is no better time than the present to get involved and to put my money where my mouth is. Nox is the product of a lifetime of reading and studying both comics and mythology—and my desire to combine the two. With this move to the web, readers get the best of both worlds while they wait for their Amazon delivery. We're also working to line things up with WOWIO for digital delivery of the book."

Since 2006, Bury's creation has garnered critical acclaim, winning Comic Geek Speak's Indy Challenge in March of that year. Newsarama's Troy Brownfield claimed Nox was "an energetic book that turns your typical kid on a quest scenario on its head while Jeff (Desperados, Gravedigger) Mariotte claimed it to be "a great read!" And That's Entertainment gave the book 10 out of 5 stars. No, that's not a typo.
