Dynamite Entertainment announced today that its new Army Of Darkness comic book series, Shop ‘Til You Drop (Dead) #1, is sold out from the publisher.
The follow-up to the first AOD series, Ashes to Ashes, is written by Jim Kuhoric and features returning artist Nick Bradshaw. The first issues featured 5 covers: Eric (Witchblade/Wolverine) Ebas, Jae (Thing/Hulk) Lee, Richard I(Ultimate X-Men) Isanove, Paolo (Spectacular Spider-Man) Rivera, and Nick (Army of Darkness) Bradshaw!
Writer Jim Kurhoric was euphoric at the news: “This feels really, really good. You read about issues selling out, but when you’ve written one of them yourself, the news really hits home. Its great knowing there are so may fans out there eating up what I’m serving!”
Dynamite notes that some copies may still be available for sale at the retail level and encourages fans to reserve their copies of future issues, and for retailers to check their orders on future issues:
