Aspen MLT, Inc. is pleased to reveal the cover images to issue four of their psychological adventure-comedy series Shrugged in stores in early January. In the tradition of previous issue fours, Aspen will be utilizing its talented host of artists to provide four different and exciting covers. Shrugged #4 will feature covers by Shrugged creator Michael Turner, series artist Micah Gunnell, Fathom: Volume 2 artist Koi Turnbull, and Soulfire: Chaos Reign artist Marcus To. Michael Turner weighed in on the different artists:
“It’s no secret Aspen Comics prides itself on the visual aspect of our books, and especially our cover work. These artists represent the best Aspen has to offer, and I’m excited that their pieces came together like they did.”
When Turner speaks of the work “coming together,” he is definitely speaking the truth. All four of the covers can stand alone as their own respective cover image, however, they will also form one larger image when placed together. Each penciler tackled a different aspect of the ever-growing ensemble of off the wall characters that make up the Shrugged universe, and the final collective piece represents every facet of Shrugged as a whole.
All four covers feature inks by Jason Gorder (Shrugged, Fathom) and colors by Beth Sotelo (Shrugged, Soulfire: Dying of the Light).
All four Shrugged #4 covers will be available, in even ratio, in stores in early January. Previous issues of the critically acclaimed series are also available for reorder:
Shrugged #3 (JUN062894)
Shrugged #2 (MAY062896)

Shrugged #1 Refection Variant Cover (APR062953)
