Brazilian-born artist Igor Noronha (Zuda Comics‘ SIDEWISE) blends comics and animation in his first creator-owned work for mobiles!
LAN, or Light Apprentice Nate, is the journey of an aspiring Light Knight that has spent 300 years in a coma. Awoken by the blueling wizard, Tlob, they work to unravel the secrets of Nate’s past, and discover hope in a world shattered by hatred and strife.
Debuting on iPhone and Android
Robot Comics will release LAN for iPhone, iPod touch and Android mobiles in October. Issue #0 will be offered for free with subsequent issues priced at $0.99 each. LAN was originally available as a Flash animation comic on Igor’s own TLOB STUDIOS website. When LAN hits mobiles, it will make use of transition techniques that only digital comics can offer, plus a special moment in issue #1 that will take fans by surprise!

About Igor Noronha
Igor Noronha is a Brazilian-born artist living in Denmark, where he has since set up TLOB STUDIOS (www.tlobstudios.com) to develop stories through comics and animation. In June 2009 his comic SIDEWISE, written by Dwight L. MacPherson (American McGee’s Grimm), won the Zuda competition; Sidewise is schedule to launch as an ongoing Zuda comic on October 8th. Additionally, Igor began the LAN_Imation Project in September, a production blog showcasing the making of a proposed 4-minute LAN animated short film. Igor hopes to raise $3000 via donations on the blog to help the project see completion, as this 4 second example shows:
