After Gail Simone announced her departure from Birds of Prey, DC has officially named her as the new regular series writer on Wonder Woman, starting with issue #13. The appointment of Simone as the replacement for Jodi Picoult — and technically J. Torres, who'll be writing the two Amazons Attack tie-ins, issues #11-12 — was made by Bob Wayne, DC's Vice President of Sales at the Comics Pro Membership meeting in Las Vegas yesterday evening.
