"We were completely overwhelmed with how positive everyone was at the show," said creator Mike Dolce who, along with artist Dan Leister, signed autographs and met with eager fans.  "We just want to say thanks to everyone and hope anyone who bought the book can now carry that momentum into their local comic store so we can keep doing what we love doing: making fun comics."

The pair also did a surprise VIP sketch outing at a special VIP cocktail party Friday night.  There, Leister and Dolce went from table to table providing info on the book as well as providing some lucky VIP attendees with free sketches.

"These guys shell out a lot of money to be at the show.  We thought it'd be cool to give them a little something extra and maybe introduce ourselves and the book to some folks who may not have heard of us."

The SIRE convention continues as Leister and Dolce will be on hand September 9-10th at the Baltimore Comic-Con to debut their all-new second issue hitting stores September 15th. Featuring another stunning Talent Caldwell cover, this issue promises big revelations as SIRE must take on the villain Bard while J.J. gets an unexpected visitor.
