About the Comic:
Co-created by brothers Chris A. Bolton (writer) and Kyle Bolton (artist), Smash is an all-ages web-comic that combines the humor of Calvin and Hobbes with the adventure of The Incredibles and Bone.
Ten-year-old Andrew Ryan has always been a little awkward. Unable to fit in with his classmates and never very good at sports, he daydreams about becoming a sidekick to his idol, the superhero Defender. When Andrew sets out to meet his hero in the flesh, he has no way of knowing that, through a freak accident, he would absorb Defender's powers, suddenly finding himself endowed with superhuman strength and speed, and the ability to fly.
Thinking his dreams have come true, Andrew becomes the costumed crimefighter known as Smash. Unfortunately, he has also inherited Defender's arch-enemy, the Magus, a megalomaniac who will do anything to capture Smash's powers for himself -- and who wields an army of devoted, highly trained Minions to do his bidding!
Andrew is about to discover how difficult it really is to save the world, fight crime, finish your homework, and sneak home after curfew...
