Speakeasy Comics will be on hand this weekend at the second annual WizardWorld Long Beach/LA Convention beginning Friday, March 18 until Sunday, March 20, 2005.
While the publisher will not be doing portfolio reviews, interested creators will be able to discuss how Speakeasy works with Publisher and President Adam Fortier, and make plans to discuss their projects with the publishing house after the convention. Posters, postcards and other promotional items will be on hand at the Speakeasy booth, as well as for-sale copies of the hot-off-the-presses Atomika #1 and The Grimoire #1! Plus, previews of upcoming titles and more!
Speakeasy creators in attendance will be: Jeremy Love, from the upcoming Speakeasy Original Graphic Novel Chocolate Thunder, and Sal Abbinanti, creator, writer, and artist of the just released Speakeasy title Atomika. Also on hand at the convention will be Atomika cover artist Alex Ross!
The publisher also announced newly signed and future projects to be published under the Speakeasy banner, including: Jamie Delano’s 2020 Visions TPB – the first project to be published through Speakeasy by Cyberosia, more details coming, the aforementioned Love Brothers production of Chocolate Thunder, and Hero@Large from creators David Murdoch and Erick Hogan.
More details on the projects will be released in the weeks to come.
