Spider-Man 3 Hits London, Black Market

The European part of Sony Pictures' Spider-Man 3 tour kicked off yesterday in London at Odeon Leicester Square. BF has a gallery of photos from the event, at which the entire cast was in attendance. Today, Maguire & co are headed to Rome.
Back in the U.S., meanwhile, moviegoers are buying lots and lots of Spider-Man 3 tickets online, more so than they did for the 2004-released Spider-Man 2, which went on to gross $784 million. Online tickets are selling at three times the rate of the previous film.
And in China, pirated DVD copies of Spider-Man 3 are a hot commodity on the black market. At just over $1 apiece (often for copies that don't play properly, if at all), buying illegal copies is a cheap way for the Chinese to get their entertainment. As Beijing resident Duan Nana told Reuters :
"It's too expensive to go to the cinema to watch movies," said Beijing resident . "This has a lot to do with why people are rushing to buy fake DVDs and watch movies at home. It's very common and it's logical."
Enough about the bad news... let's build some more buzz on Spider-Man 3. It's only 10 days away!
