Top Cow Productions is thrilled to announce that both regular editions of award winning creator Paul Dini’s Madame Mirage #1, offered in two covers by series artist Kenneth Rocafort and cover artist Greg Horn, have sold out at the distributor level. Additionally, Top Cow is proud to announce that a second printing is already in the works and is scheduled to arrive in stores on July 25, 2007 with a brand new cover by Rocafort.
Madame Mirage #1 introduces readers to the high tech, espionage filled world that Mirage inhabits. In Mirage’s world there are no heroes and ultra tech villains wear suits and sell their "troubleshooting" services under the guise of an organization called Aggressive Solutions International or ASI. But now this femme fatale from the mists emerges and begins to systematically hunt their kind down. Where did she come from? What are her motives? What are her methods? Readers who pick up the first issue will get their first hints all leading to the answer to the question on everyone’s lips – "Who is Madame Mirage?"
"I'm thrilled with the sell-out on Madame Mirage #1 . Fans have embraced the book and we've had sensational support from critics and retailers," commented Paul Dini. Dini added, "If they liked #1, wait until they read issues 2 thru 6. Our story is just getting started!"
Responding to the news of the sell out artist Rocafort quipped, "Never underestimate Madame Mirage, she really is unpredictable."
Ain’t It Cool News says, "Madame Mirage has the potential to be a breakout hit for Top Cow in 2007."
Tom McLean of Variety.com says, "Dini makes this work very well and is beautifully drawn by Rocafort."
Jon Jordan of Crimespree Magazine writes, "Great start to what looks like my new favorite series."
Madame Mirage is an continuing series full color comic with a suggested retail price of $2.99. Additional information regarding Madame Mirage can be found at www.topcow.com. Additional information can be found at www.madamemirage.com/ .
