DYNAMITE ENTERTAINMENT released images and information today concerning issue #2 of the all-new HIGHLANDER comic book series, scheduled for release in November.
Dynamite stated: “There have been many Immortal villains throughout the Highlander stories, but few are as evil or destructive as the Kurgan. Our creative team has been ingenious in devising a villain with ties to the Kurgan, all while expanding the mythos of Connor’s greatest foe. Michael [writer, Avon Oeming] and Brandon [writer, Jerwa] are keeping up with the exciting Highlander tradition, ensuring that Conner MacLeod stands up to the tests of time. Lee [artist, Moder] captures not only the dramatic, but the historical sense and magic of Highlander, as well. And Tony Harris and Dave Dorman continue to be “dynamite” cover artists.”
Dynamite Has Does It Again! In reviewing the debut issue, Highlander Community.com stated: “I'm already drooling over the arrival of issue one.”
And Broken Frontier.com declared: “Jerwa and Oeming have set up an interesting plot and seem to have the intention and ability to make this an engaging comic.”
HIGHLANDER #2 (SEP063229) BY MICHAEL AVON OEMING AND BRANDON JERWA; ART BY LEE MODER; COVER ART BY: TONY HARRIS, CAMMO w/RICHARD ISANOVE AND DAVE DORMAN (EQUAL RATIO)
