I loved this strip as a kid. It has links to Judge Dredd's continuity and is a great deal of fun. We had a plethora of sports-based strips in the UK at the time in the pages of TIGER, ROY OF THE ROVERS and the DC Thomson weeklies so this violent, futuristic take was something of a novelty.
