Broken Frontier

Today is the day that HeadHunta’ Studios is making its debut and will start announcing new titles.

First up is the announcement of THE RETURN OF THE DARK ONE!
 
The Dark One is the nickname of Greg Williams who in the 90’s and early 2000's made a big name for himself via his independent creation Animal Mystic.

Animal Mystic ran for 5 years and garnered great respect by many industry professionals and earned a huge fan base! Animal Mystic was published via Sirius Entertainment  and Sirius' anthology Cry For Dawn prior to returning in Summer 2010!

Animal Mystic #1 had 6 different printings and was also released as a Diamond ACE Edition. The series also expanded via series Klor and Animal Mystic: Water Wars. Dark One also has been published in Heavy Metal Magazine and various other publications.

Summer 2010 will mark the return of the Dark One after being lost in the mountains of Colorado for far too long!

Animal Mystic Vol. 2 will continue the adventures of Queen Jatarri and her familiar Minguss. Expect to see some familiar faces such as Klor, Ryntha, and others, as well as, some brand new faces to the Animal Mystic World.  Animal Mystic, as well as, all other titles will be available for order through Diamond Previews or at your local comic book shop.

HeadHunta’ Studios is not stopping there!

Other titles coming soon will be Frostbite and Jett Blakk’s Raptor both drawn by Dark One, Tiger Style and Hidden Worlds by artist Kevin Stokes.
There will also be other exciting projects from Headhunta’ studio mates Fred Torres (of BOOM! Studio’s Salem) and Dave Wilkins (current Marvel Cover Artist). More information will be sent out periodically.

And if you need an immediate Dark One fix be sure to check out the Con exclusive “From the Void”, a 40 page anthology of Dark One art and stories.  Most will remember it as Paleo Pirate, but the title has changed and 2 stories were added for this release.  And don't worry for those of you that cannot get to any of the upcoming conventions.  You will be able to order the From the Void #1 from the upcoming website, but more immediately via contacting Chris Walker at chrisjwalker@hotmail.com.
