The Terminator is back! (He Always is!) Dynamite pits John Connor up against Skynet and the dark future as envisioned in the blockbuster films!
Terminator: Revolution is helmed by legendary Transformers (and Terminator 2: Infinity) writer, Simon Furman, with art by Lui (Red Sonja) Antonio. The series launches with 2 covers featuring art by Richard (Dark Tower) Isanove and Stjepan Sejic. Covers are 50/50 ratio. "Revolution" tells a story set in the dark future of the Terminators, as well as the present day where John Connor and his mother, Sarah, are on the run from the enemies sent against them from the future!
"Simon Furman is becoming the driving force behind the Terminator in comics and is certainly turning up the heat for Terminator Revolution. Considering his work on Transformers, there is no doubt that Simon knows the mechanics of robots… how they think, how they act and how they terminate," explained Dynamite President and Publisher, Nick Barrucci. "And Lui Antonio's art is flawless in continuing the intense futuristic vision of a post apocalyptic world dominated by cybernetic killing machines and the struggles of the revolutionist John Connor as he begins gathering a human resistance."
Also, for fans looking to get caught up on all the futuristic and apocalyptic Dynamite action… Dynamite's first twoTerminator events, Terminator 2: Infinity and Painkiller Jane vs. Terminator are available as trade paperbacks.
Terminator 2: Infinity collects issues #1 through #5 and it's not just the T - 800 that "will be back" in this all new Terminator comic book series, but the T - 1000 and the all - new T - Infinity, as Skynet sets out to destroy the Terminators in the past to preserve their (mostly) human free future! The series stars all the familiar characters from the smash film in the dark, post - apocalyptic future as seen in the films!
In Painkiller Jane vs. Terminator, it's the most unexpected cross-over as Painkiller Jane meets the world of the Terminators! Jane has faced some bad-@$$es before but never one like this as she takes on Cyberdyne's finest! Now, she comes in between a female T-800 Terminator and its prime directive, but will Jane's enhancements be able to keep her alive long enough to see her own future? Features Painkiller Jane issues 4 and 5, and Terminator issues 6 and 7! Also includes a complete cover gallery by Alecia Rodriguez and Nigel Raynor!
