After becoming a billionaire, the Thing busts out on his own to become a star in his very own on-going title The Thing #1.  This new series will see the ever-loving blue-eyed Thing clobbering his way through the Marvel Universe.

Written by Ten Terrific writer Dan Slott with gorgeous art by Andrea Divito, The Thing #1 follows Ben Grimm as he comes to grips with being the idol of millions who is now worth billions.

Writer Dan Slott says, “The new Thing is all about action, adventure, great guest-stars, and a superhero who acts like... well... a HERO! It's everything you wanted from a comic, back when it was all about the FUN! Hey, is it too DIRE, DARK, and GRITTY for you out there? Well, why not order up a big ol' plate of The Thing? We're the COMFORT FOOD of comicdom. On the Mighty Marvel Menu, we're proud to be your fluffernutter sandwich!”

What would you expect from the writer of the critically acclaimed She-Hulk and the character who is the heart of the First Family of Comics?  Plus, more guest stars than you can shake a stick at as Goliath (Bill Foster), Warbird, Wonder Man, and Peter Parker all appear in the first issue.

The Thing #1 is guaranteed to be the most madcap fun you will have reading a comic this year.
