The spirit of vengeance continues to rein over the DCU as the DAY OF VENGEANCE #1 Second Printing has sold out at DC Comics on its in-store date of May 25.

DC is rushing this issue back to press for a new printing featuring a special version of the original cover by Walter Simonson in black and white with green highlights.

DAY OF VENGEANCE #1 Third Printing (MAR058201) reprints the story by Bill Willingham with art by Justiniano & Walden Wong. This new printing is scheduled to arrive in stores on June 22.

"I'd like to personally thank each reader who made going back to a third printing with DAY OF VENGEANCE a necessity," says Willingham. "But since I can't do that, I hope you'll forgive my thanking you collectively here. DAY OF VENGEANCE is a work of love - good premise, wonderful artists, terrific cast of characters, and lots of room for fun and adventure. DAY OF VENGEANCE #1 Third Printing (MAR058201) is available for order now and is scheduled to arrive in stores on June 22 with a cover price of $2.50 U.S. Quantities are limited, so retailers are advised to place their orders as soon as possible.
