Top Cow Productions is pleased to announce its anticipated creator lineup for New York Comicon 2007 taking place at the Javits Center in New York City on February 23rd through February 25th. Top Cow will launch its 2007 convention tour at the New York show.
Topping the list is previously announced Guest of Honor, Marc Silvestri, a living legend in the comic field. Silvestri will be on hand throughout the show for signing appearances as well as a number of panels highlighting his career as well as current and upcoming projects such as Civil War: The Initiative. In addition, Top Cow is proud to have rising penciling star, Tyler Kirkham fresh from his run on Marvel's Phoenix Warsong appearing at the Top Cow booth along with prolific Witchblade writer, Ron Marz. Also appearing at the Top Cow booth during the show will be superstar creator Paul Dini (Madame Mirage, Detective Comics), writer Frank Tieri (The Darkness/Wolverine), and Witchblade & The Darkness co-creator and writer David Wohl.
Top Cow will also have exclusive variant covers available at the New York Comicon, free giveaways for fans, and more exciting information in the weeks to come!
Filip Sablik, Vice President of Marketing & Sales commented, “We heard nothing but fantastic reviews from the New York Comicon last year and it seems to be a major show on the rise. We wanted to make sure we came out in style for this important show and that starts with a killer creator lineup like this”.
For his part, artist Tyler Kirkham is happy to be part of that lineup. “Its my first time going to New York, and I've heard nothing but good things,” the artist said. “I cant wait to meet the fans in a new venue.”
