Beginning today the weekly Truth Serum strip will begin running five times a month, with the fifth installment appearing exclusively at Dark Horse comics. This bonus strip will be twice the size of a regular strip, but only half as funny. Which if you don't think about it very carefully, makes it almost as funny as a regular strip. And like a cheese sample or unlocked bicycle – if it's free, one can't complain.
Patricia Chub of Wilkensville, NC asks, "You already accomplish so much. How will you be able to create yet another strip that is sure to be comedy gold every month? Are you magic?" Well, Patricia, if you consider an army of neighborhood children lured into a basement with the promise of free cookies and forced to create our strips for us to be magic, then yes, "magic" is the answer.
