Independent comic publisher Ape Entertainment is pleased to announce they will publish U.T.F. (Undead Task Force) a former Speakeasy title. U.T.F., a bold, new horror title was created by William Wilson (G.I.JOE: Frontline), Scott Reynolds (NBC’S E-RING) and Tone Rodriguez (Conan, Snake Plissken and Violent Messiahs) and will be available in April 2006!
Ape Entertainment is working closely with series creators and Diamond Comic Distributors to make the transition an easy one for everyone involved.
“We are working with Diamond Comic Distributors and everyone else involved to fulfill all orders placed for U.T.F. #1 that were solicited while at Speakeasy.” said Ape Entertainment’s Director of Marketing Brent Erwin. “We want to make the transition of U.T.F. to Ape as smooth as possible for both creators and retailers alike. We urge all retailers to please place orders for U.T.F. #2, currently solicited in Previews under the Speakeasy section, with the understanding that all orders placed will be fulfilled by Ape Entertainment.”
The Undead Task Force (UTF) is America’s elite corps of soldiers, trained to deal with dark forces the general population knows nothing about. Whether it’s a zombie infestation in New Orleans or an entire Los Angeles prison turned vampiric, the U.T.F. is there to end a deadly situation. This title is currently scheduled for an April 2006 release, with writer Scott Reynolds (NBC’s E-RING) and artist Tone Rodriguez (Conan, Snake Plissken Chronicles, Violent Messiahs).
