Justice League Legends #1 kicks off with New York Times bestselling author Brad Meltzer’s relaunch of theJustice League of America, with pencils by superstar Ed Benes (Superman). The Justice League has reassembled a year after their fall-out, only to become embroiled in a worldwide conspiracy involving android-body-theft and a villainous quest for immortality. This epic story spans the first seven issues of the comic.
Also starting in the first issue, celebrated comics painter Alex Ross (best known for Kingdome Come) and British penciller Doug Braithwaite tellJustice, a standalone 12-part story in its own continuity. Written by Ross and Jim Kreuger (Earth X), the story starts with the world’s villains being plagued by nightmares of the apocalypse and deciding to save the planet, spelling disaster for the Justice League heroes.
As if that wasn’t enough for even the most die-hard collector,Justice League Legends will also run DC supremo Geoff Johns’ (Teen Titans, Infinite Crisis)Green Lantern story from the second issue, out July 19, drawn by the prolific Carlos Pacheco.
With all this superhero action,Justice League Legends will be snatched from the shelves faster than a speeding bullet. Don’t miss out!
