Dynamite Entertainment releases images and information showcasing the second issue of the terrifying new series Raise The Dead. Raise the Dead is being written by Leah Moore and John Reppion, with illustrations by Dynamite's latest up and coming artistic sensation Hugo Petrus! Scheduled for an April release, Raise The Dead #2 will be available with covers by Arthur Suydam and Sean Phillips, both of Marvel Zombie fame!
Stated Dynamite, "What has been released about Raise the Dead so far has fans drooling like a zombie after fresh brains! Leah Moore and John Reppion are working in a world on the brink of an undead apocalypse - their story wastes no time getting into the thick of a genuine zombie tale! And for anyone who hasn't seen the sneak peeks of the interiors- Hugo Petrus may be producing some the best undead pages to hit the stands ever! And once again, it's all topped off with a another round of ghoulish covers as Arthur Suydam continues to bring classics back from the dead by "zombie homage" to a vintage Norman Rockwell image while Sean Phillips' contribution lets fans get up close and personal with a Zombie that's all bite!"
When asked about the secrets of Raise The Dead, co-writer Leah Moore stated, "Well I can't reveal too much, but there is an unexpected element which even the characters aren't ready for. Someone in the Raise The Dead world is slightly better prepared for the outbreak than the rest of them. That person might be only adding to the mayhem, but maybe they have the solution…we have to wait and see."
RAISE THE DEAD #2 (FEB073321)-WRITTEN BY LEAH MOORE AND JOHN REPPION; ART BY HUGO PETRUS; COVERS BY "DYNAMITE" ZOMBIE ARTISTS - ARTHUR SUYDAM (75%) AND SEAN PHILLIPS (25%)!
Dynamite enters the land of the dead with an all-new Zombie tale set in the middle of a full scale zombie infestation! This time though, there's a twist as Dynamite puts the "living" into the living dead! Writers Leah Moore and John Reppion are joined by the newest Dynamite artistic sensation, Hugo Petrus, for this special Zombie event!

Issue #2 continues the undead action as our small band of survivors, having made a fateful decision at the end of issue #1, race towards their destiny in the bowels of a research laboratory. It's here they'll meet the enigmatic Dr. Jones, who may hold the key to humanity's salvation, or may drive the final nail into humanity's coffin!
Raise the Dead will also feature two covers from two Zombie experts -Arthur (Marvel Zombies, MARVEL ZOMBIES VS. THE ARMY OF DARKNESS) Suydam AND Sean (Marvel Zombies) Phillips!
