This Sunday, September 25th, the Soho Literary Festival sees Paul Gravett, whose much-anticipated 1001 Comics You Must Read Before You Die debuts this October, in conversation with comics superstars Melinda Gebbie and Kevin O’Neill in a talk entitled “When Novels Get Graphic” at The Soho Theatre in Dean Street.
The Soho Literary Festival’s website describes the event as:
“Two of Alan Moore’s greatest artistic partners discuss their provocative graphic novel collaborations. Melinda Gebbie brings a subtlety and sensuality to the grown-up heroines Alice, Dorothy and Wendy in the pornotopia of Lost Girls. Kevin O’Neill transports famous figures of fantasy fiction to the heady daze of Soho, 1969 in League of Extraordinary Gentlemen: Century.”
