Broken Frontier

Eisner Award-winning writer Bill Willingham, who has chalked up two more Eisner nominations this year, has renewed his exclusive contract with DC Comics for another 2-years.  Willingham is the writer of the VERTIGO series FABLES and the DCU’s DAY OF VENGEANCE and ROBIN.

“I am very pleased to have renewed my exclusive agreement with DC Comics,” says Willingham.  “As a second-timer I now get access to the super-secret DC deluxe executive washroom, spa and hot-tub fiesta room.  Yes, I still have to occasionally sweep up around the DC offices, but I hear that goes away with the third exclusive renewal.  But seriously, I'll be continuing FABLES while also starting a number of exciting new projects — including an expansion of the FABLES universe.  Then there’s all the terrific new things going on in the DCU.  It’s going to continue to be a joy to work with DC during one of the most exciting and innovative periods in its publishing history.”
