Komikwerks announced today that things will get weird with the seventh title in their much-anticipated Actionopolis book line – ZOMBIE MONKEY MONSTER JAMBOREE -- now available in the August Diamond Previews Catalog.

The book is written by JJ Hart (whose exploits are many and varied) with illustrations by animation superstar Will Meugniot ("Spider-Man", "X-Men", "DNAgents").

"We got a great reaction to the books at Comic-Con, with folks comparing them from everything to Harry Potter to Nancy Drew to Big Little Books" said publisher Shannon Denton. "I think people just loved the format and the energy and wanted to link it to whatever it was they read and loved as a kid...but Nancy Drew never fought no Zombie Monkeys so I think we're in good place."

In ZOMBIE MONKEY MONSTER JAMBOREE, a camping trio turns terrifying for a group of scouts when they accidentally unleash an ancient evil on the world. To battle the zombie monkeys will take every bit of courage and scouting skills the boys can muster – and even that might not be enough.

Industry insiders who have seen the beautiful, hardbound illustrated prose chapter books also have words of praise for Hart and Meugniot.
