- Just in time for Halloween, the Goblin Market arrives to bring together comics for goblins – and the goblins who make those comics – from across the UK

- Meet comic creators, and buy exclusive comics, zines, prints, makery and more.
- A communal table for people to drop off their work in the morning and sell throughout the
- Trinket trade. Trinket exchange to your heart’s
- Four x 45 minute slots of events including screenings and talks.
This October Stanley Arts are hosting the first big Goblin Market Comics and Zines, for goblins and by goblins! Be weird and creative together in goblin unity at the Goblin Market. A sly nod to the Christina Rosetti poem.
A curious day of comics and creations, featuring loads of your favourite artists.

PLUS the Communal Table!
A place where individuals can share their work. Give your details when you drop off stock – drop off period is 10am-12pm, first come first serve, anywhere from 3 to 15 copies. Your details are tracked in a spreadsheet next to your sales by one of two goblin volunteers manning the table, your remaining stock you pick up at the end of the day and your sales are transferred back to you in the following week. SPECIAL EVENTS in The Gallery Space
(Please note space is limited and it will be at a first come first serve basis):
1pm- DIY EVERYTHING
A selection of micro talks covering the basics about how you can do it too!
Featuring Gareth Brookes, Colossive Press and Hannah Lee Miller, covering making, printing, selling, and setting up a basic zine fair.
2pm- Puppetry Showcase
Three short acts of curious puppetry crafted by similarly curious puppeteers. They come with strange moving creations and performative flair, and the audience are encouraged to go AAAAA or OOOOO.
3pm- “You couldn’t make it up”
Us goblins are thrilled to present a panel about fantasy/sci-fi comic creating.
Featuring Sarah Gordon, Beatrjis Bower and Decadence Dave discussing writing and creating fiction. Hosted by the cordially delightful Nora Goldberg.
4pm- Animation Showcase
A smorgasbord of short animated films released by independent creatives, good to have a beer in front of and relax.
Accessibility information:
Stanley Arts has excellent inclusive accessibility. All toilets are gender neutral.
Wheelchair access to the Main Hall is separate from the main entrance; it is the fifth and final entrance on your right as you are coming up the hill, below the clock tower. This entrance is accessed via a ramp with a push button for a power assisted door which leads to a lobby. The accessible toilet is on the left as you come through this entrance.
