Of Ichor & Bone is a Medieval fantasy horror comic that follows the Knight Aethelflaed as she is uprooted from her peaceful and quiet life within the castle of her Queen and sent to make a name for herself in the outside world. Inspired by our love of the Dark Souls video game series as well as the 2021 Green Knight film the comic also explores imposter syndrome and the pressures of self-inflicted failure.
Of Ichor & Bone is written by Asa Wheatley, illustrated by Sammy Ward with colours by JP Jordan, letters by Chris Mole and editing by Claire Napier.
The Kickstarter for Of Ichor & Bone will launch on May 13th and as well as the physical and digital one-shot there will be prints, stickers and a limited edition variant cover available as rewards. Interior artist Sammy Ward will also be offering some exciting exclusive commission slots but there will only be a few of these available and they’re likely to get snapped up quickly!
