PRIDE MONTH 2025! It’s the most fitting time of the year to once again give our audience a nudge in the direction of our Broken Frontier Resource Lists which include one for LGBTQIA comics and a further, more focussed one for Trans and Non-Binary Stories. You can find them here, alongside all our other socially relevant lists of important comics work.
BF looks to actively tag work in these areas whether it be graphic memoir, biography, journalism, medicine or themed genre fiction. The lists then build up with reviews, interviews and features on work within each category. They also comprise part of our Broken Frontier Connects initiative bringing together comics communities and elevating marginalised voices.
The lists have proved particularly popular with libraries helping them to make collection development purchase decisions in these areas whether that be for wider collections or special collections like zine and small press resources. Help us spread the word by sharing these lists as far and wide as possible!
