If you’ve never taken part before here are the “rules”…
We will provide a drawing theme for three sessions across the evening. We’ll post each of these prompts with the hashtag #GoshBFDD in three batches at 7.30pm (UK time), 8.15pm and 9.00pm from the Broken Frontier Twitter account, and . You have 30 minutes to draw something fitting that theme, after which we’ll spend 15 minutes picking a winner before the next round begins. Don’t forget to post your drawings with the #GoshBFDD hashtag so everyone can see and join in. And also so we can easily retweet!
Here’s some more information on the Festival of Archaeology. from the CBA’s site where you can find more info:
This year our Festival of Archaeology theme will be Archaeology and Community
The Council for British Archaeology (CBA) will be celebrating its 80th anniversary in 2024 – the perfect opportunity for us all to celebrate the incredible grassroots groups, societies and individuals that share a passion for archaeology across the UK.
At its heart, archaeology is all about people and how we explore and interpret the past through the lens of the present day. Archaeology has the unique ability to bring people from all walks of life together through our shared sense of community – what it meant in the past, what it means to us now, and how we can shape our future.
Whether you’re a regular or a newbie all are welcome so please do join in and be part of our international Drink and Draw fun! And if you enjoy this event why not check out the Gosh! Comics webstore here?
