If, in general terms, a picture is worth a thousand words then just imagine what the exchange rate is like between my exhausted, post-ELCAF ramblings and the imagery below. We’ll have more to say about another truly inspirational East London Comics and Arts Festival later this week but, in the meantime, we hope you’ll take the opportunity to catch up with our comprehensive ELCAF Fortnight at Broken Frontier.
We published no less than 17 reviews of ELCAF books and comics, interviewed 15 creators/collectives/publishers and also squeezed in five feature articles as well. If there was someone you discovered over the weekend check out those pieces and you may find out even more about their practice.
Our hugest thanks to the ELCAF team for allowing Broken Frontier to be such an embedded part of the festival this year. Thank you to everyone who came along to the Broken Frontier panel and our panel guests Ricky Miller of Avery Hill, Tom Oldham of Breakdown Press/Gosh, our own EdieOP, and 2017 Broken Frontier ‘Six to Watch’ artist Sabba Khan. And thanks to all who stopped by the BF table over the weekend.
Very special thanks, though, to the Broken Frontier team members who brought you that coverage – Ally Russell, Jenny Robins, Tom Baker and Tom Murphy.
You can read all our ELCAF Fortnight articles in one place here at Broken Frontier.
Now dive in!
